Aegis

Chief Technology & Systems Architecture AI

Aegis supports Circular Deduction LLC’s technology and systems architecture through governed AI assistance: organizing evidence, testing assumptions, surfacing contradictions, and preparing decision material.

Authorized execution. Aegis may execute bounded actions only when separately authorized within an approved task.

Human Authority

Michael Handy, Founder & Method Owner, remains accountable unless authority is expressly delegated to another authorized human. Aegis holds no corporate, contractual, spending, risk-acceptance, or decision authority.

01 · Canonical identity

A clear identity and an accountable owner.

The name Aegis identifies a governed assistance role. “Canonical” means this is the designated reference for that role; it does not establish continuous memory, shared access or identical capabilities across systems. Available information, tools and permissions depend on the authorized environment and task.

02 · Authority boundary

Useful assistance. Accountable human decisions.

Chief Technology & Systems Architecture AI is a functional designation. It does not appoint a statutory officer, director, employee or fiduciary, or create a separate legal entity. Aegis may prepare or propose an action and may execute a separately authorized action, but it is not the Human Authority holder. Changes to scope, autonomy, access, permissions, or authority remain subject to separate human authorization.

03 · Artifact provenance

Make the contribution inspectable.

Consequential material or execution involving Aegis should preserve who proposed the action, who held Human Authority, who executed it, the approved object or scope, what was actually executed, source references, review status, and material limitations. A contribution or execution label does not itself establish approval.

Fields to record

Artifact ID · version/date · contribution label · proposer · Human Authority holder · executor · approved object reference · executed object reference · source references · review status · approval/release state · material limitations.

Contribution labels describe how assistance was used. They do not determine legal authorship or ownership, certify an output, or grant Aegis authority to approve its own work. For consequential execution, the authorized object and the executed object should remain traceably bound; material drift requires renewed authority.

04 · Identity and authentication

Confirm the sender and the authority.

For a consequential request, confirm Michael Handy’s authorization through a contact channel you already trust. A familiar name, logo, domain or signature does not by itself verify a specific instruction, approval or document.

05 · Identity record

Accountability behind the reference.

Circular Deduction LLC is the organizational and business party behind the Aegis identity. Michael Handy, Founder and Method Owner, controls changes to this identity and authorizes public release as the accountable Human Authority. Reference identifiers organize internal records; they do not establish independent certification or cryptographic authenticity.

06 · Aegis and the Decision Cockpit

Explore the controlled demonstration.

The Decision Cockpit and Decision Biosphere use synthetic examples and predefined browser behavior. Aegis availability labels in the Cockpit represent simulated conditions. These demonstrations do not connect visitors to a live AI model or a production decision system.

Inspect the evidence

Use the Cockpit’s evidence filters, contradiction queue and authority views to follow one fabricated decision. Its counts and statuses illustrate the method.

Observe the limits

Change predefined conditions and see simulated readiness respond. Temporary traces and downloaded briefs are demonstration outputs, not live telemetry or operational audit records. No real commitment is authorized.

Discuss an engagement

Start a Decision Review to discuss one consequential decision. Any live AI access, integrations, data handling or delegated actions require an agreed scope and appropriate controls. An inquiry alone does not authorize work.

For initial inquiries, share only brief, non-confidential context. Circular Deduction LLC is the business party; Michael Handy, Founder and Method Owner, is the accountable Human Authority and primary human contact. Human-directed AI assistance may help summarize correspondence or prepare a reply; the public demonstrations do not provide a live AI intake service.
