Privacy Notice
How website delivery, controlled demonstrations and email inquiries handle information, and how to contact us about your privacy.
1. Scope and responsibility
This notice covers the public Circular Deduction website and inquiries sent to aegis@circulardeduction.com. Circular Deduction LLC operates the website and related services and is the business party responsible for the practices described in this notice. Michael Handy is the Founder, Method Owner, and accountable Human Authority for Circular Deduction LLC and serves as the accountable contact for privacy requests. Separate client systems, authenticated tenant environments, pilot environments and agreed services may require their own applicable privacy and contractual terms.
2. Website, email and demonstration data
Website visits. Webflow hosts this site. Hosting and asset-delivery providers receive technical request information, such as IP address, browser or device details, requested resources and access times, to deliver, operate and protect their services. Pages also load Google Fonts, a Google-hosted font loader, and resources from Webflow and its content-delivery providers.
Email inquiries. Contact links open your email application; they do not submit a website form. If you send a message, we receive your email address, message metadata and any name, organization, content or attachments you include. Your email provider handles sending, and Zoho Mail hosts our receiving mailbox. You can copy the displayed address into webmail if the link does not open an email application.
Controlled demonstrations. The Decision Cockpit and Decision Biosphere use synthetic examples. Their decision controls run in your browser and do not upload your control choices or cockpit filter text to Circular Deduction or call a live AI model. The cockpit’s temporary trace clears on reset or reload. A report you choose to download is saved through your browser and is not sent to us. Limited page-visit analytics described below are separate from the demonstration controls.
Public-safe evidence intake. If you use the evidence upload form, Webflow receives the contact fields, decision or review reference, source notes and file you submit so the material can be received for human review. Do not submit confidential, regulated, personal, export-controlled, privileged, proprietary or client-controlled material through this public demonstration. Submission does not create accepted evidence, a production tenant record, Human Authority or a decision-state change.
Limited investor analytics. The Investor Brief and investor-referred paths through Decision Under Examination, Decision Biosphere and Engage use the PostHog browser SDK through a first-party Circular Deduction subdomain to record a small set of anonymous custom events. Browser persistence is limited to sessionStorage for the current browser-tab session. The implementation does not set an analytics cookie, does not use localStorage for analytics, and does not intentionally retain a cross-session visitor identity or identify visitors. Automatic pageviews and pageleaves, autocapture, session replay, heatmaps, surveys, performance capture, dead-click capture and feature-flag polling are disabled. The custom event properties are limited to page path, timestamp, referring site hostname, UTM source/medium/campaign/content/term when present, a coarse device class, flow source, destination or link label for selected transition events, and a random Circular Deduction session identifier. Cockpit control choices, filter text, downloaded reports and typed inquiry content are not sent through this analytics path. In normal operation the tracker does not initialize when the browser exposes Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Technical request information needed to route and process events may be handled by the managed proxy and PostHog.
3. How information is used
- Respond to your inquiry, clarify its purpose and assess whether a discussion or engagement is appropriate.
- Operate, secure and troubleshoot website and communication services, and measure limited Investor Brief traffic and investor-to-Cockpit transitions.
- Keep correspondence needed for follow-up, agreed work and related business records.
- Meet applicable legal obligations, address disputes and protect rights and security.
Evidence-intake use. Public-safe submissions may be reviewed, associated with the appropriate review context and dispositioned. Submission itself does not establish evidentiary acceptance, evidence sufficiency, decision authority or permission to execute.
At the direction of Michael Handy or another authorized human acting for Circular Deduction LLC, authorized AI assistance tools may process inquiry content to summarize correspondence or draft a reply. Circular Deduction LLC remains the business party responsible for the communication, and accountable Human Authority remains human. This is separate from the synthetic website demonstrations, which do not provide a live AI intake service.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Webflow and its delivery providers support the website; Google supplies fonts and the font-loading library; Zoho Mail supports email; and PostHog processes the limited investor analytics described above. PostHog’s managed reverse proxy uses Cloudflare infrastructure to route those analytics requests through the first-party Circular Deduction subdomain. Authorized assistance tools may also process correspondence as described above. Providers process information under their applicable terms and may process it in countries other than yours. We may disclose information when legally required or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or security.
For the public-safe evidence intake form, Webflow processes the form submission and uploaded file as part of the hosted website service. Submitted files are handled through Webflow’s form-file infrastructure and are not represented by Circular Deduction as a production evidence repository or tenant-isolated Decision Basis store.
We do not sell or rent personal information or disclose inquiry content for targeted advertising.
Provider information: Webflow privacy policy; Zoho privacy policy; Google privacy policy; Google Hosted Libraries privacy details.

5. Retention and security
We retain inquiry correspondence for the purposes described above. The period depends on whether the discussion or engagement is ongoing and whether records are needed for legal obligations, disputes or security. Limited PostHog investor analytics events are retained only as needed to understand site interest, outreach attribution and referral flow and may be deleted or aggregated when no longer useful. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized, subject to applicable retention requirements and provider backup cycles. Hosting logs and provider records follow the relevant provider’s retention practices.
Public-safe evidence-intake submissions are retained only as needed to review the submission, respond or preserve related business records, subject to applicable obligations and Webflow’s service and backup practices. This public form is not the retention model for a production Decision Basis Record.
Ordinary email is not a secure channel for sensitive material. We limit the information requested at initial contact and use hosted website and email services. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You can browse without sending an inquiry. To ask what inquiry information we hold, request a copy, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email the address below with the subject “Privacy Request.” Describe the request and the correspondence involved; do not attach identity documents or other sensitive material. We may need limited additional information to verify that the request concerns your information.
Circular Deduction LLC handles privacy requests, with Michael Handy serving as the accountable Human Authority and coordinating with relevant providers where needed. Applicable law may provide additional rights or require retention of certain records. If a request cannot be fulfilled in full, we will explain the reason and any next steps available. There is no automatic deletion or self-service privacy portal on this site.
7. Children, external links and updates
This website is intended for professional and business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it. External sites and your email provider have their own privacy practices.
We review this notice when data practices change, including before introducing broader analytics, additional public collection paths, advertising technology or new processing tools. Released revisions will show an effective date, with additional notice where required.
